Fly Me to The Moon (detail), 2018, kinetic music box assemblage, 13x12x9cm

I am an artist living in the Blue Mountains, Australia. My current works are in the medium of kinetic assemblage that I automate with hand-made mechanics and music-box movements. Through the work I explore narratives based on mythology, fairy-tale, pop culture and history to develop themes of desire, innocence, darkness and wonder.

Her delicate sculptures recreate our first experiences of clockwork and wind-up objects, with their freaky-fascinating movements, their parody of human mechanics, their unnerving foreshadowing of adult desires and relationships.                                                                 Peter Doyle, The Golden Age Exhibition Catalogue, Hawkesbury Regional Gallery
