Miniature Sculpture Exhibition 22 October – 22 November 2014
Curator Rilka Oakley invited artists living in the Blue Mountains to respond to the parallels between the artist collecting for creative inspiration and the tourist collecting souvenirs as reminders of place. Just as artists and tourists travel to the Blue Mountains to capture its striking views and distinctive landscape, artists who live and work in the region collect objects, images and experiences from other places as part of their creative practices.
The other artists participating in the exhibition are David Brazil, Elaine Campaner, Ona Janzen, Mathew Lynn, Judith Martinez, Brad Moore, Janelle Randall-Court, Wendy Tsai and Kayo Yokoyama.
